Land is a series of mixed media pieces that explore the process of our actions and revisions of the landscape through gestural drawing, markmaking, erasure and surface qualities. A sense of freedom is evident  in the journey of the drawing and gestures, marks were made / erased / until the image became complete.

Tract was made on natural fine linen.  I approached this in a similar way to the drawings on paper, but with the addition of cutting, stitching and reconfiguration. Inevitably, the edge became irregular and the tactility more apparent.
